HOT BIKERS

The streets are hot.... The bikers even hotter

A Leader leads by example! MC Pres is the trend setter for the club & members

I was thinking and hope you can help me understand for although I have not joined a club I AM a fellow rider just like you - I've donated the $20's in support of and to attend a few MC anniversary celebrations too. Question- why should perks be given to MC presidents especially, if  mc's are a family unit? Leaders lead not by gett'n into parties free while their members (who have bills just like prez)pay the $20 per-head rather, Leaders "should" lead by their example! They are the teachers; example/trend setter for their club & members. They should be the one sacrificing not benefiting if their members can't. Parties/anniversaries should be a celebration of life not another chance to get intoxicated; or to show who has what (if u know what I mean). Are trophies fairly won/given to other clubs who attend events or is there favoritism? Respect IS earned but I'm hearing isn't practiced in many mc's. NOW to my sistahs who ride-  We have a responsibility 1st to ourselves...so what we wear says something about how we want to be portrayed & remembered. Riding is fun but safety FIRST ALWAZ! No stilettos, chiffon scarfs and other improper safety riding gear while riding just to look pretty should not even be allowed! I saw a sistah in strapped sandals and capris fly'n.in Maryland. See you are not only jeopardizing yourself but also those who ride along with you; Why do this, just to look pretty? This raises a question as to why you ride in the first place.

Do or are clubs really giving to their community? Like taking a group of Sr citizen  on an outing? Do clubs support organizations like Wednesday' child, big brother big sister programs, provide supplies for boys & girl clubs, Feed the homeless, etc. year round? I guess questions to ask when planning community events is #1 What is the problem you are trying to solve and then #2 why and will what you do solve the problem? I wanna commend & say thanks to the Prez of the MDRedlinerz MC who when I asked if he would ride his bike then speak to over 50 DC children about bike safety at a local Vacation Bible School (for a co-worker of mine) he willingly participated
(volunteered).
Thanks Storm~ Ok, off my soap box...be safe out there..pray we have fewer "RIPS" in 2010. Love ya and thanks for reading.

First I would like to take my hat off to my family member Storm. Good lucking bro... Now to my other family member "T". I think to answer your question as to why would lead to tradition and not leadership. Some of the greatest leaders of all time had plenty of money with poor leadership skills. I would like to beleive that the sacrfice and hard work put in as Presidents in appreciation for taking on the responsibilty would allow me to be ever so humble as to accept the honorary treat given to Presidents. In defense to most Presidents as well as the 2 Posse Riderz Presidents we have given and accepted when this gift of love was offered. Some clubs show there support by buying extra tickets to an event just in support. For me the bike community isn't about how much money I have or dont have. It's about giving back to the community in which I live. Yeah I attend parties on weekends and let my hair down with friends, family and the likes of others. I also keep things in prospective never taking anything or anyone for granted. I really could care less if I ever make a dime in the bike community. I here to enjoy what I like to do most safely. Ride my shit in peace! Get back at me girl.... Nuttin but luv for ya sista!

I belong to a relatively large club. We ride both sport bike and cruisers. There is no females in our club for the same reason you brought up the dress code, riding in safety gear. The reason for that is they are inmature and know just enough to keep something going, most of the time something they don't know about. The outlaws have way of controlling that, ride on the back with property of stamped on your back. What we need to do in this world is first check ourselves and keep ourselves in check. Presidents aren't the only ones that need to lead by example, each and every rider needs to do their part. You don't have to be in a club to organize a visit to the Vacation Bible School, you're an example of that. Thanks for what you do. If you hadn't let us know you did that, we wouldn't have known. Alot things clubs do aren't in the public because the public isn't involved, the clubs just handle their business. The 20's that you donate at functions does alot, for example: toys for 100 kids at Christmas, complete dinners at Thanksgiving for 50 families, Thousands of dollars to the House of Ruth and A Cure For Cancer and of course rent, we are nonprofit and not in it for profit. Some of the Presidents, not all, should be given the perks of free admission. Some cases they are responsibile for getting the crew together to support another crew in obtaining their monthly goal, perhaps maybe buying blankets for the homeless, by showing up in large numbers. The trophies that these clubs give out are inexpensive, nothing compared to the monies some of us put into the community, and are just a thank you to the club that repps hard. I love you sista and don't even know you, but I want you to come to a forum of motorcycle riders and listen to some of the concerns we all have. Some the concerns are about parties, community and riding (SAFE RIDING). It comes down to one thing all the time, FEMALES. Some not all, seem to think this motorcycle world is like their child or husband. Wrong. It won't be your way, you don't know everything and you need for the first time in your life to stop assuming things that you don't have a clue about. I don't know of any club, if we did they would be put on blast, that takes and don't give back. What you are talking about is things gangs do, not clubs. You can ask any club you know to do what the MDRedlinerz did and you will be surprised at the response. Most of us are family people who just ride motorcycles. Thank you my sista for what you do, keep up the good work and help somebody else, but don't forget to make sure that you have already helped yourself. Lead us by example and ask us for our help, we are there. Don't question what we do, ask us if you need us to help you. It's not anybodies business what goes on in your house so give others privacy and take care of your house and let them take care of theirs. Ride safe, I"ll be out there with you. Minding my business and leaving yours alone except if you ask me for my help. Love you and don't even know you.
