The streets are hot.... The bikers even hotter
AattenTion all RIDERS
Just hear me out....
We are losing too many of our brothers and sisters on the streets, we all need to practice safety on our motorcycles. Just because your bike can go 180+ does not mean you have to go that fast. If you are new to riding your bike don't feel compelled to keep up with the faster more experienced riders. Ride your ride and get to where you are going safe.
If you are one of the faster riders and you know you have new riders riding with you that day, ride slower so they don't feel they have to ride faster than their skill will allow. You can also have someone ride with them so that they can build up their confidence.
I know most will disagree with me here but RIDE WITH A HELMET ON!!, It was made to protect your head, just because your state law says you don't have to wear WEAR IT ANYWAY!! You can go down at anytime and your head is the most vulnerable.
Is it about looking cool or trying to look all pretty when you pull up to a red light?
For those that never went down on a bike yet you are in for a rude awakening. Trust me once you go down for the first time you will start to think more safely and your senses will become more alert. At least go down with all your gear on please.
If you are drinking alcohol and riding a motorcycle you are stupid!! Plain and simple you are a idiot!! I know there are people out there that just feel like there is this invisible field around them and nothing will ever happen to them. You could lose control of your bike, kill yourself as well as someone else and spend the rest of your life behind bars.
Leaders in our motorcycle community if you are out riding wreckless then you are setting the wrong example for everyone.
If you are out there riding DIRTY then you need a reality check!! How many of you all know someone who is out there riding with no insurance or no registration? How about no license to even ride a motorcycle? Lets do the right thing people and start setting the example for our fellow riders.
Ladies I love you to death but please don't be out their riding with them booty shorts on. If you go down then all that beauty will be tore up; skin melts too fast! I know some ladies who throw on all their gear and even get mad when they see another female riding with no gear on at all. They even get mad at some of the men out there.
Be aware of cars around you when driving in traffic, don't ride to close to them either cause you might have a sweet little old lady who does not even see you and cuts you off. When I ride, I ride like every car driver out there is drunk and I stay away from them as much as I can.
Nothing is going to stop the good Lord from calling you home; I understand that completely.
I know some of you will blow this whole thing off and do what you do, just think about your family any how they will feel if something ever happened to you.
Are your ready to say goodbye to your child, wife, husband and siblings?
Our sport is dangerous enough; let's be smart and give ourselves every chance we can to survive should we be unfortunate enough to meet the pavement.
Don't get mad; get smart!!!!!
Thats all I have to say people, please be safe out there and there is nothing wrong with going the speed limit.
