This poem is about respect and what can happen when it's not given.

The sun beating down
Heat waves off the concrete
We're going in full force
We will not retreat,
Didn't want this to happen
Left us no other way
You were running your mouth
And had so much to say,
You think you know me
Think you know my crew
But you wouldn't shut up
So now you're screwed,
Believed you could say what you wanted
About these rags on my back
Didn't know I defend this cut
Really you didn't know jack,
Maybe it's cause you didn't know
Ignorance is no excuse
Please spare me don't plead, beg or cry
It won't be any use,
Your arrogance got the best of you
Cuz you say you're fifty strong
Now it's just you
And the others are taking way too long,
We gonna let sweat
Taken our sweet time
Hope you know now
That ass is mine,
So what happened
Your chest was all puffed out
Now like a little bitch
You scream and you shout,
Thought you were the big dog
Now you know you're just a mutt
On my houses wall
Is where I'll hang your cut,
Right out in the open
For the whole world to see
And everyone will know
That I hung it there..yes me,
So maybe next time
Youll think before you run your yap
But what's worse is I didn't have close my fist
You gave'm up with just an open handed smack.
