Memorial Day Bike week in Myrtle beach South Carolina

It has been alot of discussion about it and I have even debated over it with my group. Just in case you are on the fence, or just want to hear another opinion... here goes. I think that this MB city council is absurd. I have seen many events fall under the microscope. (freaknik..homecomings, etc) I want even go into whether I feel its racial or not...I will just leave it as it is All Bike weeks. I agree that noone can tell us where to go and what we can do.. (within reason) . I agree that at times we have to force ourselves into places so that we can open doors and break down barriers. However in this case I choose this approach. When I was a child and acted up,, my mom would take something important from me. It was then when I would quickly straighten up. Even moreso than when she made me do something. I will take something very important from Myrtle beach, something that will make them stand up and pay more attention than my presence or lack there of. MONEY, The Yamboyz will take there money elsewhere, this year and every year going forward. I say take your money elsewhere... Myrtle has some nice new hotels they built, lets leave those rooms empty. Granted some family will come but they will not spend what we spend, that will not go to that park either
(too small, no rides and too expensive for the pervious two reasons) Let's do the math.. there was 10 or so of us last year... 5 rooms, 7 nights, $200 per night=$7000. If you figure that we each spent about 1-2k at least you are talking another 10-20k. So we will take our 27k somewhere else this year? Imagine if all bikers did that... Where the rallies really too long, to loud, too crazy? Any city want to put up with loud pipes for a few days?
